TriBatemans Bay

Words from the club’s president

I don’t know how JBTC keep smashing its ICS performance history. But we have certainly done it well and truely today.

It started with maximum participation points, notably with many athletes doing really well in their preferred distances outside the performance points races (details provided soon). We can’t help spotlighting Mattie Lewis’s win overall in the Classic, Such an inspirational for the Club Matt

In the participation point races (Sprint and Standard) everyone of our athletes scored us points. This is definitely a first!! That means everyone in the top 10!!! Unreal!!!

Leading into the event we would have been happy with any Club point score of over 20 points, ie mainly based on our entry numbers in the Sprint and Standard.

But … (drum roll) … we scored 28.5 points. Spectacular! Amazing!! Well beyond expectations. 5 first places, 5 in the 2nd/3rd slot, 1 in the 4-5th slot, and the remainder in the 6-10th points.

Add to these the great results in the Super Sprint and Classic and JBTC may have to count BBay as it’s happiest hunting ground. It turned the tables on our opposition in the ICS last year and this year it may have put the ‘final nail in’ it

Enjoy the after glow; not only did you do something that most people in society can’t do (a triathlon) but you have built another impressive tier in the JBTC history. A history and reputation that definitely stands out in NSW
