Good luck to everyone racing at Big Husky this weekend. JB Tri has a great range of people racing across all three days, so drop down when you're not competing and give your club mates a shout on.
As usual, the Club tent will be up from Friday through to Sunday afternoon for members to drop in, say hi, leave gear and supporters, and chill with a cool drink afterwards. We're looking forward to seeing you there.
NAMES AND FACES
As Big Husky is the Club's main event in terms of participation, can you please use the link at the end of this email to let us know if you're racing. We don't want to miss anyone! We will have volunteers out taking photographs but it is near impossible to get everyone so any extra pics would be great.
INTERCLUB POINTS ON OFFER
Long course athletes will be eligible to earn performance points for the
South Coast Interclub Series BUT you need to have entered as part of the Club's training group. If you're unsure whether you nominated that you're a JB member, or you forgot to do it, send a quick email to office@elitenergy.com.au
VOLUNTEER CALL
Elite Energy is still chasing volunteers over the weekend. It's a great way to be involved and support your tri mates. The following slots are still available and each volunteer earns a donation to the club which will be used for future social functions.
FRIDAY
Registration 8:45am until 12pm ($50.00 per adult or $25.00 per child)
Registration 3:00pm until 7:00pm ($75.00 per adult or $50.00 per child)
SATURDAY
Pedestrian Marshals 6:45am until 3pm ($100.00 per adult and $75.00 per child)
Baggage 5:30am until 11:30am ($75.00 per adult and $50.00 per child)
Registration 5:15am until 11am ($75.00 per adult and $50.00 per child)
Registration 12pm until 5pm ($75.00 per adult and $50.00 per child)
Mini Man Registration 8:30am – 3:30pm (Double $100.00 per adult and $75.00 per child)
SUNDAY
Transition 5am until 12pm ($75.00 per adult and $50.00 per child)
Baggage 5:30am until 2:30pm ($100.00 per adult and $75.00 per child)

POST RACE DRINKS
All members are invited to join us for casual post-race drinks at at Jervis Bay Brewing Company from 4pm on Sunday afternoon. Nothing formal, just a chance for club members to get together and talk about their race with someone who is actually interested!
NEW CLUB UNIFORMS
We are just finalising updated club tri gear with Scody. Hopefully we will send out an email within the next week with a link that you can use to order. The updated suit should be easier to spot on-course and it would be great to see members racing in it later this season and for Club Championships in May. So keep an eye out for for details on your email and on our Facebook page.
CLUB CHAMPS
And while we're all excited about racing, have you registered for Club Championships yet? For those who have never been, Club Champs is an awesome opportunity to get away, have fun, and hopefully win JB the Interclub championship. The event will be back at Forster on May 23 which is another bonus.
The Club has organised some shared accommodation on a first-in-first served basis. Use the link below to let Bill know if you're interested. Beds are going fast but we may be able to book another unit if there is sufficient interest.
